We have an opening for a part-time Operations Coordinator to manage marketing activities including all website and social media posts, class scheduling and coordination with instructors, database queries and report preparation, volunteer coordination, and general facility management. The hours are generally 9:00 - 1:00 five days a week, including at least a few hours a few Saturdays each month to take photos and interact with instructors and customers. The position reports to the Executive Director and also works directly with the Holly Springs Center Board of Directors.

Position Description
Working with both the Executive Director and the Executive Committee of the Board of Directors, the Operations Coordinator will
A. Coordinate HSC marketing activities:
- Become familiar with all programs, instructors, courses. Capture class photos, videos, and instructor bios for marketing.
- Make regular design changes and updates to the website (Weebly)
- Prepare daily posts to social media; work to increase followers and interaction (Facebook, Instagram)
- Design and write biweekly newsletter, including maintaining complete email distribution list (MailChimp)
- Design and arrange for production of event posters - then distribution throughout the upstate region.
- Manage periodic direct mail campaigns to support key programs.
- Conduct periodic assessments of area arts and craft programs, camps, and preschools - to identify current programs, best practices, trends, emerging threats.
- Collect all relevant personnel information from new contractors and employees.
- Maintain communications with instructors about future plans so that SOMAH classes are scheduled on a three-month rolling horizon.
- Enter new class info into the square system - and ensure social media and website promotion.
- Assist as needed with Field Trip and Day Camp registrations and preparations
- Assist as needed with HSC bookkeeping in QuickBooks
- Prepare periodic QuickBooks queries about financial matters
- Prepare operational reports that show trends and comparisons for SOMAH, PreSchool, Field Trips, and Camps
- Recruit volunteers
- Outline and manage volunteer activities
- Serve as the primary point of contact for volunteers
- Ensure that indoor and outdoor spaces stay free of debris and clutter.
- Coordinate maintenance and housekeeping contractors, as needed.
